The Anti-Christ

1/2 oz.    Jagermeister
1/2 oz.    Bacardi 151 rum
1/2 oz.    Rumple Minze peppermint liqueur

Pour the ingredients in a tall shot glass. Get ready and throw this one down quick. Swallow immediately.

OK, here at ShareMyShot.com we have offered you a number of shots with a consideration to keeping the women in your party on-board the festivities. We’ve offered a couple of sweeter tasting shots and a couple that aren’t so harsh as to drive the girls away. This time, we have a shot for the real man’s man. A shot that definitely puts some hair on a person’s chest. This is literally a good shot to drink away the blues when you find yourself in the old lady’s doghouse. It is literally the shot from hell.

As both Rumple Minze and Jager are typically chilled, it is a cool shot on the throat. For about a split second before the power of these legendary alcohol titans unleash their fury. Then duck.

All three of these brands pack quite a punch all by themselves. Rumple Minze is enough to make you see trails after enough shots. Jagermeister can send you for quite a loop as well, whether it be Jagerbombs or just plain, chilled shots. Throw in the over-proofed Bacardi 151 rum and you have an evil entity.

We here at ShareMyShot.com have an unprecedented two ratings for this sinful shot. We give it a 5 on a scale of 5 for knocking you to your knees and making you repent.

But we give it a 3 on taste and flexibility. Women won’t be asking for a second round of this shot at your party. This is for heavy poker game losses and after your football parley card goes down the drain. Not exactly one for the babes.

Cheers !!

Bubble Gum

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Bubble Gum

½ oz. Absolute vodka
½ oz. banana liqueur
½ oz. orange juice
½ oz. peach schnapps

Pour the ingredients into your shot glass in the same order as the recipe. For multiple servings, pour them in order into a cocktail shaker. However, do not shake nor chill. The shot should be no colder than what the orange juice provides.

You wouldn’t think the ingredients would come out tasting like bubblegum. But the combination of the liqueur, the schnapps, and the orange juice form a fruity combination that gives the subtle taste of a fresh piece of bubble gum. The vodka makes it a shot worth drinking. So you don’t have to use the elite, top-shelf vodka here. A more blue-collar brand will suffice.

On the peach schnapps, you should be fine using DeKuyper brand. And the orange juice in your refrigerator should be fine. CAUTION—-I would avoid orange juice with extra pulp. No one likes stringy little things in their shot. Go with strained orange juice or something like Minute Maid.

You won’t blow any bubbles after doing this shot. And it would take many to give you a zing. But it’s a funky little taste that makes you say, “Yeahhhh…that tastes like bubble gum.” We at ShareMyShot.com give it a 4.0 on a scale of 5.

I mentioned before that I am a sucker for a sweet tasting shot sometimes instead of the harsher taste of whiskey. More specifically, I’m really a sucker for those shots that take a delicious flavor from our everyday life and have the perfect concoction to duplicate it. We’re talking about shots that taste like apple pie or watermelon jolly ranchers, or even maple syrup (see previously posted recipe on ShareMyShot.com). And today we introduce to you the bubblegum shot.
Cheers !!

Wild Black Betty

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Wild Black Betty

1/5 oz Wild Turkey bourbon whiskey
1/5 oz Jack Daniel’s whiskey
1/5 oz Southern Comfort peach liqueur
1/5 oz grenadine
1/5 oz lime juice

Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker over ice. Feel free to use a different peach liqueur if you don’t have Southern Comfort on hand. But adhere closely to the Jack Daniels and the Wild Turkey specifications. Shake and strain into a shot glass. Enjoy.

This shot calls for multiple ingredients that you may have to gather before a party or blowout. It’s not something easily thrown together from what’s on-hand.

But any extra effort you have to make to serve this one to your guests is worth it. Just watch the looks on their faces when they try it and see how many ask you how to make it.

We at ShareMyShot.com give this concoction a 5 on a scale of 5.

This incredible shot may or may not be named after the ’70s song. Regardless, we promise it’ll please your taste buds and those of the people you turn on to it.
A mixture of all the best libations.

Cheers!

Vegas Bomb

Vegas Bomb

1/2 oz Crown Royal Canadian whisky
1/2 oz DeKuyper butterscotch liqueur
1 can of Red Bull energy drink (for 2 shots)

Pour 1/2 oz of Crown Royal and 1/2 oz DeKuyper Butterscotch Schnapps in a shot glass. Pour a half glass of Red Bull (or ¾ of a glass if necessary). You want to pour as much as is needed to cover the shot glass. Carefully put/drop the shot glass of Crown and Butterscotch in the glass of Red Bull and chug it. Cheers !

When I was younger, like millions of others, we used to just drop a shot of whiskey into our beer mug and chug that. Now that I’m a little older and more of a connoisseur, this is much more my speed.

This is a delicious shot and I have to admit. I got a little, tiny extra skip in my step after having one.

We at ShareMyShot.com give this a 5 on a scale of 5. I’ve always been a sucker for butterscotch.

Like many shots popular in Vegas, yes-this one calls for Red Bull Energy Drink. We at ShareMyShot.com think they come up with so many shots out there involving Red Bull so that you get a little jolt and stay out gambling longer. The same reason they pump in all that fresh oxygen into the casinos late at night. But this little jolt is worth the $8 or $9 they’ll charge you for it.

Cheers!

Squirting Orgasm

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Squirting Orgasm

1/4 oz Jose Cuervo gold tequila
1/4 oz Everclear alcohol (pure grain)
1/4 oz Jagermeister
1/4 oz Bacardi 151 rum

(For one serving) Pour all ingredients, in equal parts, into a shot glass. Stir and serve.
(For multiple servings) Pour 2oz of all ingredients into a cocktail shaker (no ice). Shake and serve.

This shot is good at parties, BBQs, etc. It’s one of those fun drinks that becomes a topic of conversation, like Sex on the Beach. The ladies think it’s humorous, the guys get quite a zing out of the actual mixture, and the whole party gets livened up.

We here at ShareMyShot.com give this one a 4 on a scale of 5. It falls just short of being the perfect shot.

The name of this shot says it all. It’s an awesome mixture of four well-known heavyweight brands that can be found in any decent bar or restaurant. You may have to tell the bartender how to make it. But they should be able to accommodate you. This is a nice shot for you and your woman. It’s a fun shot to order, the toast practically speaks for itself, and the shot packs a nice little punch. Throw down a couple of these with your woman and it may not be the last time that night someone has a squirting orgasm!

Cheers !!

Maple Syrup

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Maple Syrup

1/2 oz Captain Morgan spiced rum (original)
1/2 oz Butterscotch Schnapps

Stir the ingredients together in a small mixing glass with chipped ice. Strain into a shot glass, and serve. {Stick to Captain Morgan, but feel free to go with your favorite brand of butterscotch schnapps}.

Just like Mrs. Butterworth used to make, right? This tastes awesome and because you you mix it with the chipped ice, it gets just the slightest chill——not cold like Jagrmeister out of the fridge. It keeps the shot from tasting like a warm, thick shot of actual syrup in a shot glass. It makes it that much more palatable and tasty. And boy, does it ever taste like maple syrup! It’s one of those mixtures someone stumbled upon that tastes like a popular treat.

It’s an easy shot to make. Women love it and ask for another. It’s a good after-dessert shot. And we here at SaveMyShot.com give this a 4 on a scale of 5. Now is that going to be a short stack or a tall one?

I have to admit it; sometimes I’m a sucker for some of the sweeter shots. Every now and then, a nice watermelon-tasting shot or something like a Baby Guinness (see previous recipe on ShareMyShot.com) goes a little better than a shot of Old Granddad. After I have some sort of dessert at a wedding or at a family party, I’m not always in the mood for a belt of whiskey or tequila. That’s where an easy little number like this comes in.

Cheers !!

Jack Pucker

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Jack Pucker

1 ½ oz of Jack Daniels
1/3 oz of chilled Apple Pucker

No kidding here. If Jack Daniels has a little too much bite for you, or it’s getting late in the evening and your stomach just may not be able to handle a 6th shot of straight Jack, this little ditty might be right up your alley. Simply pour a healthy shot of J.D. and then top it off with a splash of the chilled Apple Pucker. It provides a cool alternative to the sometimes harsh warmth of Jack Daniels after a night of chicken wings and poppers. And the Pucker tones down on the bite that you normally get with Jack. Keep in mind, it doesn’t spoil the shot. You’re still drinking whiskey, son.

But this one may keep you from getting the spins an hour later lying in bed. Keep that in mind.

We at ShareMyShot.com give this little temptress a 3 on a scale of 5.
It’s more to tone down your party than to get the party rolling.

Erik the Red

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Erik the Red

1 oz Johnnie Walker Red Scotch whiskey
1 oz Jack Daniel’s whiskey
1 oz Thor’s Hammer vodka (or Absolute)
3 – 4 drops of red food coloring

Stir ingredients together in a cocktail shaker (no ice) or an old-fashioned glass. Serve in a large (tall) shot glass.

Make sure you use clear shot glasses because part of the payoff of this shot is the appearance. Quite obviously with the food coloring, it’s quite red. The aesthetic effect is part of the reason for even mixing this shot. And while we highly recommend the premium Thor’s Vodka as the recipe calls for, you can substitute it for another decent vodka brand. There’s no problem using Absolute (original).

And as you might guess, it can pack a wallop. A full ounce each of a couple of whiskeys and a vodka will take its toll. We at ShareMyShot.com give this one a 3 on a 5 point scale. Women aren’t too keen to try it. And while it doesn’t taste bad at all, it’s not as tasty as some of the other concoctions out there. It’s more of a shot for when you’re hanging with the guys.

Drink enough of this shot, and you could very well have the train-track red eyes the next morning. Vodka almost always does that to me. Combine it with a couple of the finer whiskeys out there, and now you have a man’s man shot. This one isn’t for amateur, social drinkers. It’s good at a poker game or while you’re tailgating with the boys

So cheers !!

Dr. Malibu

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Dr. Malibu

As this shot is a 50/50 mix, simply double or triple the ingredients for multiple servings.

½ oz of Dr. Pepper soda (soft drink)
½ oz. of Malibu coconut flavored rum

Pour the Malibu coconut-flavored rum first and then top with Dr. Pepper into a tall shot glass, and serve it. There’s no need to mix it in a cocktail shaker. This is an end-of-the-evening shot. Nothing fancy here as you can see.

But it tastes pretty damn good. For a seemingly weird concoction like Dr Pepper and Malibu Rum, the DP combines well to keep it from tasting like a pure shot of coconut juice from Gilligan’s Island.

You’d probably have to ask for this shot special at a bar. Not too many bars have an ample supply of cold Dr. Pepper at the ready. If they do, they just might make it for you. Just don’t let them charge you $7.50 or more for it.

Otherwise it is more of a household shot. And something the boys might appreciate a bit more than the ladies as the night wears on. Don’t try and impress anyone with this shot. Just appreciate it for what it is….something to use up that damn Dr. Pepper !!

We here at ShareMyShot.com give the Dr. Malibu a 3 on a scale of 5. Not bad. Not something to offer the pretty lady at the end of the bar, either.

Oh, and the good Dr Mc Gillicuddy Peppermint Schnapps can be found at any reputable neighborhood liquor store.

I used to hear this question every couple of Sundays when I was a season-ticket holder for the Chicago Bears. A group of people that I tailgated with every game used to do a shot of Dr. Mc Gillicuddy’s Peppermint Schnapps before we all split up and entered historic Soldier Field. A couple of the tailgaters would march out of the blue-and-orange mobile home with trays of shots over their heads like waiters at a fine restaurant. And the biggest guy amongst our group would yell, “Is there a doctor in the house??? ”

Today’s shot is not Dr Mc Gillicuddy. However, it is a pretty easy shot. It’s a shot for when you are down to the last of your supplies and want a nice belt to finish off the evening. Not just your everyday shot of whiskey or bourbon. This is something to wrap the night up with a toast and drain the last of the cooler / party supplies at the same time.

Cheers!

Country Time

Country Time

Here’s a wonderful, refreshing treat to try in the summertime. Sure, you could have a tall glass of actual lemonade.
Or, you can whip up a few of these gems:

1 oz Absolute Citron vodka
1 oz vodka (any suitable brand)
1/2 oz raspberry schnapps
1 dash of Sprite soda (or Sierra Mist if necessary)
2 lemon wedges

Mix the vodkas, squeeze in the lemon juice from the wedges, and add the raspberry schnapps. Mix together in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake until it’s chilled. Strain into a large shot glass. Top with a dash of sprite, and serve.

This tasty replacement for actual lemonade on a hot day is really appealing. You can order it at many bars and pubs. Especially those that offer all of the “fruit juice” drinks and teas and lemonades.

We here at ShareMyShot give this a 5 on a scale of 5.
We predict you will enjoy it big-time.
